GE90-115B Aircraft Engine

The GE90-115B enables airlines to achieve superior fuel efficiency. One reason is the massive fan blades, which create an unprecedented amount of airflow.

Environmental Benefit

A fleet of thirty GE90-115B-powered Boeing 777 aircraft is designed to emit 389,000 fewer metric tons of carbon dioxide annually compared to its closest competitor, equivalent to the annual CO22 emissions of over 74,000 cars on U.S. roads.

Operating Benefit

The GE90-115B powered Boeing 777 is designed to be more fuel efficient than its closest competitor. In one year of typical usage, this amounts to a savings of more than 213 million gallons of jet fuel across the entire GE90-equipped Boeing 777-300ER fleet of 157 jets, which translates into more than $532 million in fuel cost savings annually, assuming a jet fuel price of $2.50/gallon.
