Environmental Benefit
A GE Digital X-Ray system eliminates the need for water in film processing. For example, a GE Digital X-Ray system can produce the same imaging volume as two GE analog X-Ray systems while saving over 156,000 gallons (590,000 L) of water per year.
Operating Benefit
Replacing two GE analog X-Ray rooms with one GE Digital X-Ray room could reduce energy consumption by 4,300 kWh or 78 percent, and save approximately $100,000 per year in productivity and material costs based on U.S. national averages, while maintaining imaging volume.
