The GE Healthcare Voluson® family of women’s health ultrasound systems is globally recognized as a leader in ultrasound imaging for women. Now as an ecomagination product, Voluson E-Series systems are also regarded as among the industry’s most energy-efficient — helping clinicians consume less energy, reduce exam time and create less waste.

Voluson E-Series systems are built with the most advanced ultrasound technology from GE and incorporate energy and paper saving technologies. The Voluson E6 ultrasound can save up to 50 percent of the electricity used by previous GE technologies, or around 770kWh less electricity per year, while reducing scan time by as much as 25 percent. With DICOM® digital imaging technology, Voluson E-Series systems can also eliminate 50 percent of printouts for archival purposes compared to analog technology, potentially saving more than $15,000 per machine in ultrasound paper per year.
